This online American history course follows the events of Reconstruction after the Civil War, examines the impact of industrialization, and covers the major political and social events of the twentieth century: the United States' role in WWI and WWII, the Cold War, the New Deal, the Civil Rights upheavals of the 1960s, the Vietnam War and the interplay between liberalism and conservatism.
