History 304K presents the history of English civilization from the period when the Romans conquered the British Celts in the first century A.D. through the Glorious Revolution of 1688. This online course focuses on the historical framework established by the political leadership of rulers, the nobility, the gentry classes, and the Christian church. Within this framework, the course also examines the lives and livelihoods of inhabitants of England from all social classes and of both genders.
