LEB 320F : Foundations of the Legal Environment of Business (Online)

Course Description

3 college credit hours

The primary focus of this course is to acquaint current and future managers with the general legal environment and workplace problems that most often lead to litigation. If danger areas can be spotted early, court can often be avoided. A secondary focus will take the reverse view and examine rights from an individual's perspective, including protection from harassment, discrimination, wrongful discharge, and unsafe working conditions.

Not open to law students. Introduction to the legal problems confronting businesses in the global environment. May not be counted toward the Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
